Marine Stewardship Council
The Marine Stewardship Council’s (MSC) fishery certification program and seafood eco-label recognise and reward sustainable fishing. We are a global organisation working with fisheries, seafood companies, scientists, conservation groups and the public to promote the best environmental choice in seafood. The MSC can serve as a force to seriously reduce the environmental impact of fisheries, like curbing bycatches of seabirds and other marine wildlife.

Save the Albatross Campaign
BirdLife Partner organisations are at the leading edge of global efforts to save the albatross from extinction. In 1997, BirdLife International established the Global Seabird Programme, which has its headquarters at the RSPB. This was followed in 2000 by the launch of the Save the Albatross campaign. Partners throughout the world are helping to make the Save The Albatross campaign happen, through the activities of their Albatross Task Force teams.
